ACTIVE INGREDIENTS Is a Boston based Improv troupe and current house team at ImprovBoston .  With their unique style of humor and arsenal of Improv formats ACTIVE INGREDIENTS puts on a performance that effortlessly bounces from scene to scene creating a hilarious show. 

How we came to be:

Story A:

Giovanni Alabiso and Scott Berger first met and performed at a comedy jam together at ImprovBoston, where they immediately hit it off. Realizing they had something there, they recruited their mutual friends and fellow improvisers to form ACTIVE INGREDIENTS.

Story B:

On September 10^th 2008 the large Hadron Collider was set in motion. Scientists were hoping to observe particle collisions that would explain the origins of our world.When they turned it on they never expected that they would inadvertently create ACTIVE INGREDIENTS.

Story C:

Waiting at Gate B10 at the Cleveland airport for a delayed flight home, an announcement was made over the PA system that the plane would come to the gate in 5 minutes. Eight total strangers all sitting near each other simultaneously said out loud, “That’s what she said.”  Right then and there those eight people formed the Improv Troupe ACTIVE INGREDIENTS.
